​Steven D. Christopherson, MS, LPC, NCC

Steve joined PRO-ACT 1998 and in 2012 became the owner, CEO and Clinical Director of the practice.  Steve taught math and psychology in public high school for 16 years before becoming a school counselor. He practices solution focused therapy using a cognitive-behavioral approach under the umbrella of Biblical truth.

Steve is active in a leadership role in his church. He has played drums professionally as both a studio and live performance drummer. He presently plays for the Praise Team at his church. He holds five black belts, one in Kung fu and the other in American karate. Steve is married with four children

Erik Christopherson, Pastoral Counselor

Pro-Act welcomes Erik Christopherson to its clinical staff. In addition to being an intake specialist, Erik is also a Pastoral Counselor, Licensed Minister, and Certified Anger Resolution Therapist. He operates under the biblical umbrella for counseling and understands real world struggles. He has flexible hours, including evening and weekends. Erik is an international champion and member of the USA Kung Fu Team, plays lead guitar for his praise band at church, and is a Branch Leader for the Ambassadors for Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry. Erik is married and available to help people of all ages. He practices out of the Pasadena and Baytown offices.
